IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS continues to deliver test results that are most familiar to and trusted by institutions and organisations. More than 9,000 universities, employers, professional registration bodies and governments around the world accept IELTS as evidence of your English proficiency.

Listening, Reading and Writing Tests: The Listening, Reading, and Writing tests are administered during the morning. The total time for the three tests is 2 hours, 45 minutes plus time for paper distribution and collection. Please note that no breaks are permitted between the morning tests. There are NO scheduled washroom breaks.

Speaking Interviews are usually scheduled for the afternoon of the test date. However, when many people are taking the same test, speaking interviews may be scheduled up to a week before or after the test date. If your interview is not scheduled on the same day as your listening, reading and writing tests, you will be contacted in advance with the exact time, date and location. If your interview is scheduled for the afternoon of the test date, your interview time will be posted on your desk on the day of the test. Please arrive for your interview 40 minutes prior to your scheduled time. These interview times are assigned by computer. It is NOT possible to change your interview time.
